The Healer, the new full-length album from the Northwest-based trio SUMAC—featuring guitarist/vocalist Aaron Turner, bassist Brian Cook, and drummer Nick Yacyshyn—deepens their exploration of creation and destruction. Over four tracks and 76 minutes, SUMAC weaves a complex sequence of shifting movements marked by expansion, contraction, decay, and regeneration.
