For over 15 years, Louder Than War has been a cultural force at the heart of the UK’s alternative music scene championing new bands and artists and bringing them to the forefront.

Louder Than War Live is the physical manifestation of that passion and belief in the power of rock ’n’ roll. Curated by editor John Robb, one of the UK’s most influential voices in music it’s only fitting that the festival takes place in Manchester, a city whose musical legacy runs deep.

Hosted at the iconic Manchester Academy, with its multiple performance spaces and three decades of history, the venue has long been a launchpad for fresh talent while also spotlighting
some of the biggest names in British music culture.
